Meet Julie

Julie has been in the hair industry for over 15 years. She has been styling since 2005. She is always eager to learn new trends and techniques. Her strong belief in ongoing education has led her to becoming a certified master educator for Farouk systems. She was also accepted onto Farouk Systems Creative Artistic Team. She is passionate about all aspects of hair but has a particular love for hair colouring. Julie has had many different avenues in her career, including salon owner for the last 8 years. Alongside owning and operating the salon, Julie loves the outdoors. Her love for the outdoors inspired her new salon journey of MONASHEE HAIR. The Monashees are a mountain range in the beautiful british columbia where she has enjoyed her passions of snowboarding and fly fishing. Monashee means “mountain of peace.'“ She wants her clients to have an escape from their day to day and feel the calm, relaxing energy of the space.
